Compare Finishes

Two finishes. The same architectural form, durable hardwood and traditional sauna experience.

Natural Finish

  • Kiln-dried Southern Spotted hardwood (Dipteryx odorata), treated with Australian-made CUTEK in Dusky Brown to complement the timber’s natural colour and grain.
  • A warm, expressive finish with variation that makes each sauna unique.
  • Recommended reapplication: every 24–36 months, depending on exposure and conditions.

Ash Edition

  • The same Southern Spotted hardwood, finished in Intergrain Black Char, an Australian-made, penetrating architectural-grade stain designed for long-term outdoor exposure.
  • A deep, dark matte finish that retains the character of the timber grain without peeling, flaking or blistering.
  • Ash Edition requires less frequent maintenance than Natural Finish.
  • Recommended reapplication every 5 years, depending on exposure and conditions.

Assembly

Choose Expert Assembly and our team will build your sauna cabin at your prepared site.

Full cabin assembly

Assembly of the timber panels, roof, benches, glass door and cabin hardware.

Packaging removal

We take away the packaging once assembly is complete.

Before we arrive

  • Have your level base ready and a clear access path to the sauna’s final position.
  • Let us know about steps or restricted access beforehand.

Electrical installation is separate

Arrange a licensed electrician for the heater, controls and lighting installation. Electrical work is not included in the assembly service.

Prefer to assemble it yourself? Allow 4 hours with at least 2 people and standard tools. Always follow the assembly guide.

Delivery

Select your state to see the delivery cost and estimated arrival window for your sauna.

Planning your delivery

Before dispatch, we’ll confirm your delivery address and access requirements. The carrier will contact you to coordinate delivery.

Access and unloading

Your sauna arrives in a protective crate. Let us know about narrow roads, slopes, overhead obstacles or other access restrictions. The unloading position depends on safe truck access and site conditions; kerbside delivery may be necessary.

Before it arrives

Have your prepared base ready and keep access clear. Check the crate on arrival and photograph any visible damage before unpacking.

Delivery does not include cabin assembly or electrical installation. Choose your assembly option separately and arrange a licensed electrician for the electrical work.

"Kindra delivers on aesthetics and performance for an incredible outdoor sauna experience. Following the solid principles that a lot of Finnish sauna builders use, like correct ventilation and bench height, Kindra is able to give you that soft, relaxing heat which you’d expect from a premium brand."

Mike

"We absolutely love our Kindra sauna. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are beautiful, and it feels like a natural part of our outdoor space. Having somewhere at home to slow down and unwind together has been such a pleasure."

Shabna

“We spent a long time looking for an outdoor sauna that would complement our home without compromising on the actual sauna experience. The Elata has exceeded our expectations on both fronts. The quality of the timber and attention to detail are immediately noticeable, and the heat is beautifully consistent. The team at Kindra were also fantastic to deal with. Highly communicative, helpful throughout the entire process. We use the sauna almost every evening now.”

Everything You Need to Know

Materials, dimensions and practical guidance to help you plan your Elata, from preparing your space to caring for it over time.

Globally Recognised

Award-Winning Australian Design

Recognised by the Good Design, European Product Design and Red Dot Awards, Elata brings together thoughtful detailing, architectural form and a traditional sauna experience.

L-Shaped Seating

More Space to Unwind

An expansive L-shaped upper bench creates space to stretch out and lie down or come together, with seating for up to six. High-set benches position you in the hottest part of the cabin for a traditional sauna experience.

Considered Roof Design

Rain-Ready Construction

Corrugated iron roofing with a five degree pitch and integrated rubber flashing direct rainwater away from the cabin, protecting the structure from consistent exposure.

Engineered to Endure

Materials Chosen for The Australian Outdoors

No cover needed. Kiln-dried Southern Spotted hardwood, galvanised roofing and 316 marine-grade stainless steel hardware bring durability to the details you see and those you don’t.

Powerful Heating

Stable Heat, Rich Steam, Even Temperature

All heater options deliver and hold the high temperatures required for an authentic Finnish sauna experience, with the option to pour water over heated stones to create bursts of steam and increase humidity.

Optimal Airflow

Fresh Air, Longer Sessions

Four adjustable ventilation points allow you to control airflow throughout your session, introducing fresh air and reducing CO₂ buildup for a more comfortable experience.

HUUM App

Control From Anywhere

With HUUM’s digital and Wi-Fi app controls, you can set the temperature and plan your sauna session from your phone.

Australia-Wide Delivery

Plan your sauna’s arrival with delivery costs and timeframes available for your state.

5-Year Warranty

Covers structural components, cladding, glass, and hardware against manufacturing defects.
